The requirement
Heifer needed to ramp up awareness of the evolution of their work in Africa. Expanding from livestock gifts to wide-ranging support for smallholder farmers via agri-tech investments, youth-led innovation and innovative capital. The ask was to develop a strategy that enabled the organisation to strengthen communications with stakeholders at the regional and country levels; as well as provide support at the Africa Food Systems Summit 2023.
The results
Comprehensive external communications strengthened the brand’s regional and country-wide communications. This established Heifer’s evolution in Africa and positioned the organisation as a thought leader in agriculture development. During the Africa Food Systems Summit 2023 we prepared more spokespersons as thought leaders and generated over a million social media impressions, more than 250 online news reports on Heifer’s work, and hundreds of partnership requests from government and commercial stakeholders.
